IAD

A 68-year-old female suffering from double incontinence was referred to Nu Pro Nurse Centre for management of incontinence associated dermatitis (IAD). After assessing the skin condition, Nu Pro specialized nurse team started the management with the use of various skin care products & advanced Bioptron Light Therapy. A special method in application of skin barrier cream had been used to ensure the cream could be made in good contact with affected skin and hence enhancing the performance of the product.

Significant improvement was achieved as demonstrated in photo taken after 6 days. More importantly, the overall comfort level of the patient was improved. IAD is a condition that deserves undivided attention as it may lead to serious complications like pressure injury and consequently turns out to be life threatening if not being handled promptly and appropriately.
