A female aged 78 with extensive excoriation at the perianal area due to the problem of incontinence was referred to Nu Pro Nurse Centre for management. This condition was described as Incontinence Associated Dermatitis (IAD). Proper cleansing techniques and appropriate application of skin care products were of great importance for handling this case. It was essential that the health care provider taking care of the patient at home could handle it properly. Education to the health care provider became a key role of our nurse team in achieving successful outcome of this case. It was noticed that the area with excoriation had significantly improved and the wound healed up in 4 days.
