Diabetic Wounds

Ms. Tsang, aged 83, has medical history of diabetes mellitus. She has received two amputation surgeries on her 2nd & little toe before. Unfortunately, another diabetic wound was diagnosed on her big toe. After 6 months of traditional treatment, the wound worsened with exposed bone and ligament tissues, covered by slough & biofilm.

Ms. Tsang refused to undergo another amputation surgery. She reached Nu Pro Nurse Centre and finally had her wound healed ideally. She was free from another amputation!
